120-Egg Automatic Incubator – Auto-Turn, 4 Species Modes, 12V Backup Power, Built-in Candler & Day Tracker
120 Eggs. Fully Automated. Turns Every 90 Minutes. Keeps Going on Battery Backup.
Manual egg turning requires checking eggs three times a day — every day — for 18–21 days without missing a session. Miss a turn, and embryo development is compromised. This 120-egg automatic incubator turns eggs every 90 minutes automatically, monitors temperature and humidity continuously, tracks the incubation day count, and runs on 12V DC battery backup when AC power drops. Load it, set your species mode, and let it run — the incubator manages the environment so you don't have to.
Automatic Egg Turning Every 90 Minutes — With Countdown Display
The turning mechanism rotates all eggs simultaneously every 90 minutes — the optimal interval for even heat distribution and embryo contact positioning. The display shows a countdown to the next turn cycle so you always know where you are in the sequence. For a 21-day chicken hatch, the unit completes over 480 automated turn cycles from lockdown to hatch — something no manual turning schedule can match for consistency.
4 Pre-Programmed Species Modes — Correct Temperature Automatically
Optimal incubation temperatures vary by species. The four built-in modes automatically apply the correct temperature profile for each:
- 🐔 Chicken — 99.5°F / 37.5°C standard incubation temperature
- 🦆 Duck — slightly different temperature and humidity profile from chicken
- 🪿 Goose — longer incubation period with adjusted parameters
- 🕊️ Pigeon — smaller egg profile with specific thermal management
Manual temperature control is not available in automatic mode — the species selection sets the correct conditions. For quail, pheasant, and other species, use the closest analog species setting and adjust manually if needed.
12V DC Battery Backup — Continues Through Power Outages
The incubator includes a 12V DC connection cable in addition to the standard 110V AC power cord. Connect to a 12V battery, car battery, or DC power supply and the incubator continues operating through power outages without interruption. For rural properties, farms with generator gaps, or any location with unreliable power, this backup capability is the difference between a failed hatch and a completed one — embryos can die within hours of temperature interruption in mid-development.
Built-In Egg Candler — Check Fertility Without Moving Eggs
The integrated egg candler lets you check embryo development and egg fertility directly inside the incubator without removing eggs, cooling them down, or disrupting the humidity environment. At days 7–10 of incubation, candling reveals whether embryos are developing — unfertilized eggs should be removed to prevent contamination of the batch if they spoil. Having the candler built in rather than requiring a separate handheld torch means this check takes seconds with minimal disturbance to the incubation environment.
External Water Refill + Overflow Protection
Humidity management is as critical as temperature for hatch success. The incubator features an external water fill port so you can top up humidity without opening the unit — opening the incubator drops both temperature and humidity simultaneously, which disrupts the environment at the moment you're trying to correct it. Built-in overflow holes prevent excessive moisture accumulation even if the reservoir is overfilled.
Incubation Day Tracker — No Manual Record-Keeping
The built-in automatic day counter tracks elapsed incubation time from the start of the cycle. For chicken eggs, you know you're at day 18 and should stop turning (lockdown) without keeping a separate calendar. For mixed-species batches with different hatch timelines, the tracker keeps you on schedule for each developmental milestone.

Who Uses This Incubator
- 🐔 Backyard chicken keepers — expand the flock without buying chicks at retail prices
- 🏡 Homesteaders — year-round flock renewal and breed-specific hatching from your own eggs
- 🌿 Preppers — self-sustaining flock reproduction independent of hatchery supply chains
- 🦆 Duck & waterfowl raisers — species-specific mode removes the guesswork from waterfowl incubation
- 🐣 Quail & game bird breeders — high-capacity hatching for meat and egg production flocks
- 🚜 Small farm operators — commercial-scale capacity for breeding program management
Pro tip: At day 18 for chickens (day 25 for ducks), stop the auto-turn function and increase humidity to 65–70% for lockdown — this is the critical final phase where chicks position themselves for hatching. The day tracker tells you exactly when you've hit this milestone. Don't open the incubator during lockdown unless absolutely necessary — even brief humidity drops at this stage can cause chicks to get stuck ("shrink wrapping") inside the shell.
